Working Together: The Odyssey of a Forgotten Model. Part 3

Disclaimer: I am speaking of this event strictly as an inside outsider. Six where the other half of our class working on developing the model of an Old San Juan home we were all tasked with. 107 on San Sebastian street, a very popular street in the city.

The troubles started early with a timid yet firm debate on the right scale to build this long rectangle of a house. I believe we all landed on a 1/8th (maybe 1/16th) inch scale model. All is going well with the system they developed to section the house and divide work as equally as possible. Second hurdle arose when they decided to shake things up and laser cut a whole new system from the one in the previous sentence. Finally the nail on the coffin was hammered in when the laser cut machine quit on all of us halfway through the construction of our tiny layered San Juanera.

It was a valiant effort filled with downs and more downs, a tale that won't be soon forgotten as I'm sure there are better and more personal depictions of this story across the blogs of our fellow blogging family. I look forward to reading them. Huzzah! or however the ending of an epic story sounds like.
